Vision
Medhani-Alem Evangelical Church (MEC)'s Vision is to outreach and witness to Ethiopians and Eritrean communities and individuals in different cities in Orange County, California and make followers and disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mission
MEC's missions are witnessing the Gospel, Winning people to believe and have faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, to enhance faithfulness of Christians, to develop/help other similar ministries and Churches, reach out to the needy, and promote cultural and physical development of Christians.

Ministries and Activities

1. Reach out for people and tell them the God News of the Gospel of reconciliation;

2. Encourage non believers to believe in Jesus Christ, accept Jesus as their personal Savior, and teach them to grow in their Christian life;
​
3. Disciple, enhance, and equip Christians for their individual Christian life and in all sectors of Christian ministries and services;
​
4. Encouragement and help believers in their social and cultural lives;
​
5. Train and counsel Christians to grow to become ministers of the Gospel and encourage them to witness to non Christians and grow to become ministers of the Gospel;
Children
Ministry
MEC have Children Ministry for English speaking children from ages 3 to 8 years of age. Children can join this ministry at any time.
Youth
Ministry
MEC have Youth Ministry for English speaking children from ages 9 and above of age. Youth can join this ministry at any time.
Women's
Ministry
MEC have Women Ministry for all ages and backgrounds. Women can join this ministry at any time.
Counseling Support
MEC have and provide Christian Counselling and Discipleship Ministry for all ages and backgrounds. People can come and get these services at any time.
